Bare

Bare. Uncovered. Having shed all inhibitions.
Exposed in all fragility. Yet strong and defiant.

Yay!!!!am the early bird :) It's beautiful. Is this early morning? I loved the last picture the most, with the line of light in the horizon, if its morning then its a lovely morning dawning :)
Is it warmer yet?

Beautiful pictures. The third one is my favorite - very well composed.
All these pictures of snow...make me miss the east coast of US.

Bare, but beautiful!

Reminded me of a lovely winter holiday that I spent in Ohio.

@Trisha:

Thanks. No, it wasnt early morning...it was evening.
And nope, not a bit warmer. The cold is getting me depressed. :(

@Abhijit:

Thanks...I always enjoy hearing which ones you liked best. :)

@Rahi:
Thanks. It all looks magical until you have to wake up the next day and dig your car out from under all the snow for a good twenty minutes before you can drive to work. That part is not so magical. :P

@Vamsee:
Thanks. You miss the snow?! sigh. And I miss the beautiful sunshiney weather back in India. :)

@Blu:

Do put up the photos you take in the snow...would love to see more of your part of the world. :)

Will get to the tag soon.

Thanks! Glad you liked them. :)

@Cuckoo:

Thanks...glad you enjoyed them.

The place is about an hour's drive away from where I live. Totally worth the drive. More so in summer than in winter because you can actually see the water as you drive along the edge of Lake Michigan.

@Trevor:

Long time, no see. Always nice to have you drop by. Thanks! :)

@indicaspecies:

Thanks! :)

You spent an entire holiday in Ohio?! LOL. I have a friend who lives in Ohio and I always tease her about how there is absolutely nothing to see or do in Ohio.
:P

hey - came back and just saw your reply to my comment. SURE!! I'd love to get away from here and be surrounded by snow. See, I've NEVER been allergic to anything before and now I've developed an annoying cedar allergy that gets everyone in Austin eventually ... so sure, you can come here in my place - just be prepared to sneeze continuously for weeks at a stretch. ;)

Hi Vagabond! Wonderful pictures, but I think that (though without snow) I had already enough of winter this year... ;))

Meanwhile Blogtrotter has entered Rajasthan (through an interesting Road trip... ;))! Enjoy and have a great weekend!

@Bindu:
LOL. No thanks. I'll just deal with my cottonwood allergies right here during summer. It's the one good thing about winter I guess - fresh, clean air, no allergies. :)

@GMG:
I wish I could say I've had enough of the snow too...but there really is no escaping it at the moment, so I might as well make peace with it and embrace winter for what it is. Secretly, I'm ready for spring though. :)
